THE BACKGROUND
D’IYANU is an African-inspired fashion brand offering clothing and home goods with a top-tier retail experience.

THE BRIEF
Develop imagery guidelines, a color palette, typography, and a logo that authentically reflect the brand.

THE SOLUTION
I created a unified, accessible color and font system for consistent brand communication. The refreshed logo and mark offer a modern, culturally rooted look. The chosen fonts—Anton and Poppins—are Google Fonts, making them free and easy to use across digital and print platforms.

The 2023 festival theme, “Fluff Union: The Sweetest Square in Somerville,” celebrated Marshmallow Fluff’s local roots and promoted Union Square as a cultural hub.

Create an iconic image that captures the spirit of this beloved community event across posters, merch, and social media.

THE SOLUTION
Guided by the tagline, I built the concept around Union Square’s recognizable graphic, pairing it with bold colors and playful icons. The design aimed to evoke joy and nostalgia, with broad appeal for Fluff fans of all ages—from eight to 80.
